Circe as WW is kicking butt! But, I guess the ends don't justify the means. heh. Diana & Hercules head to Circe's Greek island home to try and set things right. Diana does look better in the outfit.

Wonder Woman - Issue #2

Story by: Allan Heinberg | Art by: Terry Dodson | $2.99 USD, $4.00 CAN| dccomics.com

Diana's trying to figure out who she is. She has figured out that her & her new partner, Nemesis, don't see eye to eye (but I'm sure that will change). All the bad guys, well....mostly girls are out and they demand Wonder Woman. Thankfully, she's about to do a little twirl but is stopped by.....!

Wonder Woman - Issue #1

Story by: Allan Heinberg | Art by: Terry Dodson | $2.99 USD, $4.00 CAN| dccomics.com

I thought I'd throw the second picture in for fun. heh. So, this issue begins the new Wonder Woman. The first arc being "Who is Wonder Woman?" Well, it looks like Diana has stepped out of her role as WW and into the new role as Agent Diana Prince. She's had some others step in but now Minerva wants the REAL WW to come out and play. Should be interesting!

The Mighty Avengers - Issue #4

Story by: Brian Michael Bendis & Frank Cho | Art by: Jason Keith | $2.99 USD, $3.75 CAN| marvel.com

Ultron just got hotter. Plus, even she recognizes our fascination with the end of the world. Plus, Ares kicks a$$! Well, not really a surprise but still fun. Black Widow's pissed 'cause it appears that Stark is dead & it's about to hit the fan. Plus, Sentry's going to have some more issues to deal with. Oy.

The Mighty Avengers - Issue #2

Story by: Brian Michael Bendis & Frank Cho | Art by: Jason Keith | $2.99 USD, $3.75 CAN| marvel.com

Uh-oh...Ultron's back! And boy does she look familiar. The team's confused and angry (like most teams I'd say). Now if they could just find Tony...

New Avengers - Issue #33

Story by: Brian Michael Bendis | Art by: Leinil Yu | $2.99 USD, $3.75 CAN| marvel.com

After the Civil War, Luke Cage, Spidey, Wolverine & Spider-Woman went underground. They meet up with Ronin, Dr. Strange & Iron Fist & head to Japan. Now, the group is back in the states & they're all paranoid. Plus, a creepy new creature shows up.

The Mighty Avengers - Issue #1

Story by: Brian Michael Bendis & Frank Cho | Art by: Jason Keith | $2.99 USD, $3.75 CAN| marvel.com

Post Civil War, now there's a new team. I must admit I do tend to side with the Cap but maybe Stark's got it figured out. Anywho...it'll be interesting to see if these guys can get it together.

New Avengers - Issue #31

Story by: Brian Michael Bendis | Art by: Leinil Yu | $2.99 USD, $3.75 CAN| marvel.com

First off, the top picture is a varient that I got at (surprise, surprise) Comic-Con. heh. So....I apparently missed ALOT between issues 27-30. I'm going to ComicsNStuff tomorrow to try and remedy this. The cover looks great though doesn't it?! Best line in this issue? "It's a Ninja tea party." Haha. Great fight scenes & wonderful last couple of pages.

New Avengers - Issue #26

Story by: Brian Michael Bendis | Art by: Alex Maleev | $2.99 USD, $3.75 CAN| marvel.com

Interesting art. Very Gustav Klimt. So Hawkeye is back! And he's on a mission to find the Scarlet Witch. Obviously, his brain insn't all back together yet, 'cause he makes a big whoopsie!

New Avengers - Issue #25

Watch out for those disgruntled employees man! And it turns out that Commander Hill isn't a total biatch.

New Avengers - Issue #24

Story by: Brian Michael Bendis | Art by: Pascual Ferry | $2.99 USD, $3.75 CAN| marvel.com

I really like the Bendis/Ferry team. Or maybe I'm just partial to Capt. America. ANYWAY, the Sentry has some issues that he's trying to work out. He also gives a great summary of the roots of the Civil War (in case you didn't know). I sure wish he'd ignore a certain billionaire though.

Zero Killer - Issue 1

Story by: Arvid Nelson | Art by: Matt Camp | $2.99 USD| darkhorse.com

Post-apocalyptic New York. A favorite setting for many authors. Here a hero arises out of a gang "protected" city. There are a lot of questions here, but it does leave me wanting to read more. Plus, I like to see some diversity in the comic world.

The Flash - Issue 13

Story by: Marc Guggenheim | Art by: Tony Daniel | Not for resale | dccomics.com

So, I've never read The Flash before but I love this cover! He looks sooo sleeeeepy. hehe. It looks like The Flash's reign as the "Fastest Man Alive" is about to end. Great art.

MORAV

Story by: M. Zachary Sherman | Art by: Budi Setiawan | Not for resale | morav.net

"The Future of Robotic Warfare Begins Now" is the subtitle. A subtitle that I can get behind. Robots & War? Yes please! heh. Too bad I don't see any robots in this issue! Owell. I guess that's what they call back story. If you go to the website above, there's a cool picture of what this robot domination might look like.

All in all, an alright read for being free. =D Thanks again Comic-Con!

Heroes - Issue #2

Story by: Aron Eli Coleite | Art by: Micah Gunnell | Not for resale | Helix Comics Group (if you're a Heroes nerd you'll get that reference)

Now that I have officially mourned the passing of Comic-Con 2007, let us get back to the books. =) Because of my addictive personality however, I do have to touch on Comic-Con a little.

Heroes, the comic book! If you haven't already, check out the cool comics online. The one that I have is Chapter 5, I think they're up to Chapter 49 now. Here's the online novel library.

Chapter 5 gives us nice little insights into the back stories of these "heroes." Want a copy? Too bad it was a Comic-Con exclusive. hehe. But you can print it online.
