Comic-Con 2008...Friday

Had a little tickle in my throat today ::ahem:: but all of a sudden I felt good so, off to Comic-Con I went! ;D

I got there around 11am. I left at around 7:30...exhausted. That convention hall is HUGE! And walking it several times over can be taxing. The number of people attending is large but not out of control, thanks to the prohibition of "at the door" sales. I wasn't able to attend ANY of the panels/forums that I wanted to go to (booooo long lines!) but I had fun. Kev joined me in the evening for a couple of hours but by then I was too pooped to do much.

Comic-Con 2008...Thursday

For some odd reason I didn't take any pictures. Well, I was only in the exhibit hall or a minute since I went after work. =/

I did watch the Kung Fu Extravaganza though!! AWESOME. It inspired me to buy Kiltro. Haven't watched it yet but I sure will!! Check out the trailer:

Comic Con 2008 - Preview Night

Woohoo!! Kev and I went to preview night on Wednesday to pick up our passes. After an initial "We don't have you in our system" fiasco we were out and about the check out the exhibit hall...press passes in hand. =D

I'm really starting to not like all these big movie companies though. In my opinion, it takes away from the comics but I'm sure they generate alot of sales. Although I'm hearing reports that attendees are getting pretty out of control with the freebies. We walked around for quite a while until we were kindly reminded that the exhibit hall was closing. heh. Anyway, it was good times.

Today I hit the convention center after work. My main focus was the "Kung Fu Extravaganza." It ran from 9pm - midnight (we only stayed until 10:30) and it featured some really cool clips as well as some Kung Fu actors/directors.

I'm looking forward to a big day tomorrow. I'm packing my protein bars & water!! Not to mention a pair of comfy shoes to switch into. =)
